The Tennessee Orthopaedic Society is an organization of Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeons practicing in the State of Tennessee who are dedicated to providing the best orthopaedic care to the citizens of Tennessee.

Mission

Founded in 1948, TOS is dedicated to increasing public awareness and health care improvement for persons with musculoskeletal impairments. TOS supports continuing medical education for its over 350 members and monitors the effects of socio-economic and legislative measures impacting the quality, availability, and cost of health care in orthopaedics.

Activities

TOS provides ongoing information and activities related to the practice of orthopaedics. Through our special events and initiatives, members enjoy all of the benefits of association with other professionals in the field. Annual events bring members together in some of America's most beautiful meeting locations. For a list of activities, please visit the Events and Bulletins pages. We encourage members to participate in all TOS activities and provide the valuable input needed to continually improve our regular events and programs.
